*Local government responded quickly with innovations and FWPs

*Workers have confidence and trust in their local leadership group

*Managers are showing compassion and empathy

*LG employees feel hopeful about their future

Remarkable times call for remarkable collaboration

Community members across Western Australia were invited to take part in an important state-wide collaboration.

This collaboration saw the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, 139 Local Governments, Local Government Professionals WA and CATALYSE working with local communities to gather baseline and informing data to help local communities to recover and thrive following the COVID-19 outbreak in Western Australia.

The community was invited to join us in mapping community well-being and resilience and in helping local governments to set short and medium term priorities to meet local community needs.
